Nokia goes dirt cheap with 6 handsets for emerging marketsNokia has introduced a new low cost range of mobile phones for emerging markets, and this range of Nokia handsets hold a price range from €90 which is roughly $117.00 right down to an amazingly low €25 which is $32.00, which is really quite incredible.

But these new low priced handsets do raise an important question, and that is why is Nokia targeting emerging markets alone? Nokia does have a history of going after emerging markets occasionally, but these new models would be just as at home in the average mature market.

The most expensive with be the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic, while sitting in the middle is the Nokia 7100 Supernova, and bringing up the lowest will be the Nokia 1202 at €25 which will be Nokia’s cheapest mobile handset ever.
