On June 4, HTC launched a new mobile phone, the HTC Touch Pro with a beautiful design featuring 3D touch user interface and 5-row sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The new HTC phone touch model runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and is destined to business professionals.

“The HTC Touch Pro and Touch Diamond have created a new generation of HTC touch devices that make the promise of the one-hand, one-touch mobile Internet a reality,” said Peter Chou, president and CEO, HTC Corp. “HTC Touch Pro is for those customers that demand the ease of use and enjoyment of TouchFLO 3D and want the styling of the Touch Diamond but also need the powerful mobile business experience that HTC delivers.”

HTCTouchFLO 3D is known for the intuitive interface provided with direct access to important applications like calendar appointments and calls.
Same as the Touch Diamond, the new model offers high speeds of up to 7.2Mbps via the HSDPA connectivity and an advanced browser that gives you the feeling of searching web sites from your desktop computer. You can zoom and pan with one hand and turn the phone sideways to rotate the image in landscape view on the 2.8-inch VGA display.

It has also the YouTube application and Google Maps for checking the traffic.

HTCOther features include Microsoft Office suite, built-in TV-out, digital camera with autofocus and 3.2MP resolution, secondary VGA camera for video calling, 512MB flash memory, 228MB RAM, microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Wi-Fi, AGPS, HTC ExtUSB interface, and the Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528MHz advanced chipset.

HTC Touch Pro measures 102 x 51 x 18.05 mm at 165 grams, and uses a 1340 mAh battery for up to 8 hours of talk time and 2 weeks of standby. It will be available in stores from Europe, Asia and Middle East later this summer.
