A reviewer from Gadget Lab, Charlie Sorrel, recently posted his views about the latest application for the iPhone called Stanza.
Stanza is one of the free applications that can be used on the iPhone or iPod Touch. However, this application does not turn your Apple devices into a handheld gaming device or a music player. But instead, in turns the said products from Apple Inc. into a small e-book reader.
But Stanza is more than that. It also allows the users to have an instant access to the collection of free e-books, wirelessly.
How? By accessing Stanza, you will hook upto the website called Feedbooks. This website allows users to download Creative Common texts as well as public domains without paying any amount at all. The whole catalog of the Feedbooks can be accessed using the iPhone where the texts will be directly downloaded into the said device. This can be done even without the use of laptops or desktop computers.
The download time usually takes just a few minutes because the files are simply made from texts. Thus, the file size is expected to be smaller compared to the typical free applications for the iPhone that can be bought from the App Store.
