In line with its game plan of keeping pace with the fast-growing mobile phone industry, Nokia India launched a new handset designed to meet the changing needs of mobile consumers – the Nokia 6220 Classic.

Aimed at providing a better experience for users, the Nokia 6220 comes packed with bumped up camera solutions features that include a Xenon flash-complemented 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics. High-quality images can be easily shared through the phone’s support for A-GPS.

The Nokia 6220 also offers fast web browsing and downloading capabilities owing to its HSDPA connectivity, and the handset also prides itself with an Adaptive multi-rate speech coding technology.

On the software side, viewing detailed images of certain localities is made possible through the integrated Nokia Maps 2.0, while blogging on-the-fly is taken care of by its Nokia MBlog application.

Nokia India further announced that the Nokia 6220 Classic will be available for a price of Rs 19,959.
