Nokia has released a new version of the Nokia Music PC client today, which will fix over one hundred defects according to the update news: “Things we have been able to solve include a large number of ‘stability’ type defects, the ‘Unknown Artist’ bug, as well as a number of issues around device connection.”
To upgrade to this new version, you can just install the new version over the old version for Windows XP users. For Windows Vista users, you will have to uninstall your old Nokia Music PC client beta version first and run the new installation file.
The supported devices list has also been extended to include the following devices: N76, N78, N81, N82, N91, N95, N95 8GB, N96, 5220, 5310, 5320, 5610, 6210, 6220, E66, E71.
The new version is also a beta version, where Nokia will release another Beta update after 28th July. The Music Store integration might get activated after 28th July.
