Looks like Nokia has struck a deal with Kodak, as whispers hit the net that Nokia and Eastman Kodak Company have entered a mysterious patent license agreement, although any details of such an agreement are quite scant.
The word doing the rounds is this Nokia - Kodak deal will enable both outfits to give “access to the other’s intellectual property portfolio,” and apparently provide “significant benefits to both companies, [while being] royalty bearing to Kodak.”
Other than that there’s not much word on this agreement or what the mobile arena can expect from this joining. Maybe we will start seeing Kodak sensors appearing on new Nokia handsets in the near future.
