Leading Windows Mobile applications developer, Spb Software, has announced the first commercial execution of Spb Online. Spb Online is a “set of premium online services for 3G networks, designed to stimulate subscriber uptake of streaming content on handsets.”
Spd Software, in conjunction with Russia’s largest CDMA mobile operator, Sky Link, they delivered SkyTouch which is a customized Spb Mobile Shell-based UI solution, integrated with Spb Online and tuned to local preferences of SkyLink subscribers.
Spb Software House COO, Vassili Philippov, had this to say “I believe that Sky Link, as one of the most innovative players on the Russian mobile communications market, is strategically right by offering subscribers not just devices equipped with fast Internet access, but devices with pre-installed online services, which facilitate the use of such fast access.”
