Looks like Verizon is gearing up for a smear campaign against the Google Android T-Mobile G1, well not an all out smear campaign but they are making sure their reps are fully aware of just how to persuade a potential customer from stepping over the road to pick up at T-Mobile G1 rather than a Verizon branded mobile phone.
Verizon has prepared a list of reason why people shouldn’t purchase a T-Mobile G1, which they can spout off on command should a customer ask. Apparently this list includes things like “super limited 3G coverage” and “no audible navigation instructions” and also “music downloads via Amazon MP3 limited to WiFi.”
They say know your enemy, and it looks as if Verizon know theirs, but with the BlackBerry Storm soon heading their way, there isn’t really that much to worry about is there?
