Patient BlackBerry Storm hopefuls are still hanging around for an official release date to be announced from Research In Motion, still no real news on that front, but they may like to know that the Blackberry Storm has received the official go ahead from the FCC.
Not much else to be gained from the fairly secretive FCC approval report as it doesn’t even specify the actual name of the mobile handset.
However, it probably is the BlackBerry Storm, if you go by looking at the label placement diagram it shows off the rear side of the mobile handset and judging by the world roaming SIM slot, appropriate lines, and button placement it sort of points in the BlackBerry storm’s direction.
