T-Mobile Flagship Oxford Street Store opens to offer G1

Telco has announced that it will push up its opening date of its new UK store to October 30th to coincide with the roll out in the UK of the Google Android T-Mobile G1 smartphone. Which means the UK will then have the G1 to do battle with the Apple iPhone 3G along with an Oxford Street store that can stand head to head with the Apple store on Regent Street.

The word is the new Telco Oxford Street store will open its doors for the first time at 7am, so best get there early if you fancy grabbing a T-Mobile G1.

On a side note, SIM Application Toolkit support will be added to the Android SDK by the end of the year, which means specific SIM functionality will be able to be integrated into any Android based mobile handset.
