Finally, Truephone Anywhere for BlackBerry is available as a beta offering. Truephone is the service that allows the user to make cheap long distance calls over VoIP on a mobile phone.
So far, the London based Truphone service has only been available for Symbian OS Nokia mobile handsets and of course the Apple iPhone, while for now the Truphone service still doesn’t support Windows Mobile.
There are a few minor set-up hurdles to get over but once accomplished the Truphone does exactly as it’s supposed to do, and the service is intelligent enough to route calls through to whichever network is the cheapest, Truphone’s or GSM.
